Sinatra had always been there .. but not really in my life ..
I learned more and more Sinatra songs .. and then those of Dean Martin ..

I performed my first Sinatra Tribute Show in my adopted home-town of Blackpool in 1994 ..
It was very popular .. I must have performed the show in almost every hotel in Blackpool ..

I'd always finish the show with New York, New York .!
One night, I'd just finished a show and was taking a bow,
when the compere said .. 'Ladies & Gentlemen' ..

Please, give a huge round of applause
for a great show to the one & only ..'Mr New York' .!

For some reason, it stuck ..
I became known as 'Mr New York'
Throughout Blackpool and the North of England ..

I continued performing as 'Mr New York' in the U.K.
until October 2000, when my wife and I decided to head for sunnier climes..
