A voice that, eventually, would make me want to sing .. to become an Entertainer ..

The voice I heard belonged to a young man who was destined to become one of the World's Greatest Entertainer's .. His name was .. Elvis Presley ..

Then came the 60's .. and amazingly, the whole world was rockin' to the sounds of music from Liverpool! I desperately wanted to be a part of it but, unsure of my ability to perform solo,
I joined a group as a drummer .. and slowly, my confidence grew ..

In 1967, I moved to Blackpool.. where I met 'My Girl'.. and future wife, Kristina..
We married on May 17th 1969, in St Stephens Church, Blackpool.

By July, with major encouragement and support from Kristina,
I began performing my own cabaret act in Blackpool ..
In the years that followed, I performed my act throughout
the North of England Club Circuit ..

Then came 1972.. A memorable year in my life, for two very good reasons ..
The first, and most important reason, our son Jay was born on January 4th ..

Secondly, this was the year I first began performing my ElvisTribute Show which I'm sure you'll immediately realise, was a good five years before his untimely death in August, 1977..
